“Danforth Baptist Church exists to live out the love of Jesus Christ” Together we continue to seek practical ways to experience and live out the love of Christ as a church community
and as individuals, in every area of our lives and in all spheres of influence.
Our Faith
We believe in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and the need for personal response to His offer of salvation
We believe in the sanctifying work and the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are to be used for the building up of the body of Christ. We uphold the authority of Scripture in all matters of faith and Christian living.
We practice two ordinances commanded by Jesus: the baptism of believers and the Lord’s Supper (communion)
We affirm the call of all God’s people, both male and female, to the various ministries of the church.
